 The long-awaited live-show of marc Almond took place in Manege Kadetskogo korpusa on a shivery October evening. The legend of the British pop-rock was feelingly singing Russian folk-songs, romances and soviet stage’s classics, not haven neglected rock-n-roll, pop-ballades and his age-old super hits. The public got an offing to dance to rousing disco of "Drinking, Laughing" and "Tainted Love" and slowly turn in embracements, to "Tenderness" – the English version of the so named song of the soviet classic movie “Three poplars at Plyuschika”.
It’s for a long time that Almond is in ardent love with Russian music. He began the concert in the Riding Hall with the improvisation on “So long the Path” and for the final movement prepared the «Friendship» - “for Vadim Kozin”, and the audience sang along in russian, for “Dorogoi Dlinnoyu” knows everyone.
Together with a special guest and his friend, musician Andrey Samsonov, Almond performed several songs from the “Heart on snow” record and one yet unpublished song – “Guilt of my Heart”.
Fragile and subtle, Marc Almond possesses an unfamiliar power, charming each and every person in a capacity crowd! It is impossible not to mention his boundless artistry and the ability to make you by insensible degrees fall in love with his tender velvet voice, decent smile and his soulful attitude to the audience. Wrapped around with a lilac scarf, strewing himself with the petals of the flower sea, which was on stage, Almond sang with such an irresistible sincerety, as the saying is, with all his heart, that this concert became the brightest moment in person for many of those who came to listen to the romanticist of the United Kingdom.

 The charming Parisienne Marina Celeste is the one of the vocals of the Nouvelle Vague project, which barely needs any reference for the connoissieurs of the French electromusic. As her guides in music Marina mentions Kate Bush and Cocteau Twins. The Celecte’s voice tenderly enters the listener’s heart, wraps him in warmth and charms with beauty. At the show you’ll hear her solo compositions from the debut album Acidule (2007), the works from the wonderful second record – Cinema Enchante (2007) (which represents her, performing the songs from the classical French cinema of the ‘60s with Michelle Legrand, Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot) and also the compositions from the repertory of lately beloved here by many Nouvelle Vague.

This is the first public concert of the band in St. Petersburg. A few years ago they appeared on a private party, which only the fortunate few succeeded to visit. But after all, the group is worth to be loved! Sexy participants of the british electro-pop trio Client are loved in many countries and Russia doesn’t make an exception.
Client are the spindle-legged glamorous Scandinavian ladies, wearing hostess’ uniform and playing rugged electroclash, most of all resembling the early, just been fledged new-wave or the first attempts of the rockers of the ’70s, using the key-boards and the drum-machines. Client acquired a several fan-clubs in the cities of Russia and became a kind of an embodiment of feminine synthy-pop for thousands of their admirers in our country. While working at ground zero of the band, “clients” simulated anonymous nymphets: a Client A and a Client B, and no any other information. Their names were concealed, not a one public photo showed their faces. The conspiracу was maintained until the journos interposed in a matter and tore off the masks, under which we found Kate Holmes (marked before in Frazier Chorus and Technique) and Sarah Blackwood (both face and voice of Dubstar).
By the end of 2005 Emily Mann, a painter and a participant of the Make Me a Supermodel reality-show of the British Five TV channel, joined the exposed duet and became Client E. Client is the first and the only commercially successfull project of the Toast Hawaii lable, a company of self-perpetuating Depeche Mode’s Andrew Fletcher. Girls accompanied Depeche Mode in their last tour. In October of 2006 they flitted away from Fletch, after signing contracts with Out Of Line Records (Germany) and Metropolis Records (North America). To put it otherwise, Client amounts to “Satisfaction Guaranteed”!
