Page 1 of 3 Einsturzende Neubauten are regarded as founders of industrial music, and taking in account their ardent fan-base following, their influence on German music scene should not be under-estimated and could be easily compared to one of R.W. Fassbinder's on German film-making. A great deal of books and films following Einsturzende Neubauten's career has seen the light of day. Their world tour kicked off in Saint-Petersburg with the latest 'Perpetuum Mobile' album being presented through a mesmerizing hell of a show incorporating air-compressors, iron plates and tubes as musical instruments.
