Page 1 of 2 Their career spanning over 20 years alt. rockers KMFDM has made quite a journey from a band claiming from the Paris underground scene with a small but devoted fan base to American chart topping monsters. They have worked with Adrian Sherwood (Nine Inch Nails and The Cure) and performed with the likes of Einsturzende Neubauten, The Young Gods, Borghesia and Ministry. The name of the band - KMFDM - a German acronym for 'Kein Mitleid Fur Die Mehrheit' ('no pity for the majority') has seen many an interpretation including infamous 'Kill Mother F***ing Depeche Mode'. Their style has been self-defined as an ultra-heavy beat, and when playing live KMFDM crank up a powerful fusion of dance, heavy metal, alt. and industrial rock with Sascha Konietzko's manifesto raps and vocal support from Luccia, leaving no punter unimpressed.
